Menu Planning 101 (worth the effort!)

      So long story short (well I am no good at that!) Living in the City we are spending WAY too much on eating out, but we are just so busy!!! so I took the plunge and decided a menu plan it is! I wanted to try not to eat out for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!! So here are two weeks of menu plans that I made and a few recipes and my shopping list. Yes it did take me two hours at the grocery store and came to 180 dollars but that is TWO weeks of food for a family of 6 so that is actually pretty good considering that we spent over 400 dollars on eating out in just two weeks (hence the reason I am cooking at home)! I just print out my two menu plans, the recipes I need and a blank grocery list so that I can write down everything I need! I Believe in leftovers!!(Oh that reminds me I need to put in the roast before I leave today!) (love crockpot days!) (I also love putting everything in these handy little (ADHD) brackets) ("almost" as fun as quotes, {almost})! So here it is, hope it helps! Most of the Recipes I just got online on Allrecipes.com

Monte Cristo Sandwhich

Philly Cheese steak

Homemade Pizza

Carrots, Crock pot roast, potatoes

BBQ

2 pm snack

1/2 cup granola cup low fat yogurt

Apples and peanut butter

oranges

carrot sticks and sugar snap peas

popcorn

rice crackers

celery with peanut butter and raisins

Dinner

Monte Cristo Sandwhich

Philly Cheese Steak

Homeade Pizza

Sweedish Meetballs

Carrots, Crock pot roast, potatoes
